Build together, live

Invite anyone into your project and build the same Bool side by side, in real time. See who's in the room with live presence, share one chat so everyone's prompts and Bool's replies land for the whole group at once, and watch changes appear the moment a teammate makes them.

Where We Dropping?

Have a folder of HTML, a zip, or a public GitHub repo? Drag it onto the Drop page and Bool turns it into a running app with a live URL — no setup, no config, no blank page to start from. Drop again on the same Bool to publish a new version at the same address.

Hello Bool

Today we're launching Bool. The fastest way from idea to live app. Describe what you want and Bool builds it — frontend, backend, hosting, all in one flow — with a live URL to share the moment it's ready. Here's what you can do from day one.

The new Bool wordmark

Start by describing or dropping

Type what you want to build and watch it come to life in a live preview, or drag a file, a zip, or a public GitHub repo onto the Drop page and Bool turns it into a running app.

Live from the first build

Every Bool gets a live URL the moment it builds. Say what to change, edit the code in the browser, or drop in new files.

Share it, remix it

Send the link (or a QR code) and anyone can use your app — no sign-up needed. See something you like? Remix any Bool to make it your own and take it from there.

Build together

Invite collaborators into a project and work in the same live session — presence avatars and group chat included. Ready for a real address? Point a domain you own at your published Bool.

One keystroke to a working homepage

When a dropped site needs an index.html to have a working homepage, the rename prompt now defaults to 'Rename and deploy' — so the recommended path is just one Enter away.

Paste a file or file path into Drop

On the Drop page you can now paste a file straight from your clipboard, or paste a local file path, to upload it — no drag-and-drop required.

Share your Bool with a QR code

The publish popover now has a Link / QR switcher. Once your Bool is published, flip to the QR tab for a scannable code you can point a phone at or download to share.

QR codes stay visible in dark mode

Fixed QR codes vanishing for people using dark-mode browser extensions, so the code always scans.

Import a GitHub repo into Drop

Paste a public GitHub repo URL on the Drop page and Bool fetches the repo, unpacks it, and deploys it — just like dropping an exported zip.

Drop a new version from the editor

A new drop button in the chat panel lets you upload a file or folder to replace your project's files and save it as a new version. After it lands, a confirmation screen lets you review the refreshed preview and publish when you're ready — your changes don't go live until you do.

Remix a Bool with its data

When you remix a Bool, a confirmation dialog now lets you choose to start your copy empty or bring along a copy of the app's database — all tables and rows included.

Command palette

Press ⌘K (Ctrl+K) anywhere to jump straight to a page or one of your projects — no more hunting through menus.

Drop a file anywhere to start

The entire Drop page is now a drop target. Release an image or file anywhere on the page to kick off a new Bool.

Manage your own password

Set, change, or reset your password right from your account settings.

Public links lead with your custom domain

When you've connected a custom domain, your Bool's public URL now shows that domain first, falling back to a bool.so link.

Follow Bool from the footer

Added a 'Follow us' section to the site footer with our social links.

Readable markdown in chat bubbles

Links, inline code, quotes, and tables inside your blue chat bubbles are now legible instead of blending into the background.

Dashboard overview cards

Your dashboard now opens with at-a-glance overview cards summarizing your projects.

'Built with Bool' badge toggle

Choose whether the 'Built with Bool' badge appears on your published apps with a simple opt-in toggle.

Smoother preview loading

The preview now holds its loading screen through the first build instead of briefly flashing the starter template.

Steadier live collaboration

Fixed a crash that could happen when joining a collaborative session.

A more flexible editor layout

Collapse the chat panel in the editor to give your preview and code the full width — and the editor now adapts to tablet screens with a resizable split between chat and preview.

More reliable multiplayer

Rebuilt real-time collaboration under the hood for steadier shared sessions and fewer sync hiccups.

Consistent chat bubbles

Your own messages always show in blue now, with cleaner tails and more comfortable padding.

Custom domains and live multiplayer

Point a domain you already own at your published Bool and serve it from your own address. Plus: see who else is in a project and share a real-time session with collaborators.

Live multiplayer

See who else is in a project with presence avatars and share a real-time agent session with collaborators.

Breakpoint switcher & fullscreen preview

Switch between device sizes and expand the preview to fullscreen from the preview toolbar.

Voice dictation

Dictate your chat messages with your voice instead of typing — with both click-to-toggle and hold-to-record, whichever feels natural.

Issues Found + Resolve with AI

Runtime errors in your preview now surface automatically with a one-click 'Resolve with AI' to fix them.

Group chat in shared Bools

Shared Bools now show who said what, with iMessage-style group chat for everyone collaborating.

Fonts shown in their own typeface

The theme picker now renders each font name in the font itself, so you can see what you're choosing.

Chat avatar polish

Fixed a white notch that appeared on incoming chat avatars.

Version history grows up

Open any earlier version of your app in the live preview straight from Version History, and edits you make by hand now save as their own versions — so your history captures everything, not just AI changes.

Project archiving

Archive projects you're done with to tidy your dashboard. Archiving also takes down the live deployment.

Simpler publishing

Publishing moved into a tidy popover with a success confirmation, and re-publishing the same version is now a no-op.

Live-updating Version History

New versions appear in Version History instantly, without reloading the page.

Better mobile preview toolbar

Cleaned up the preview toolbar on mobile with an icon-only terminal button and no accidental zoom on the route bar.

Accurate snapshot previews

Fixed previewing a stale or wrong version when opening a snapshot in the sandbox.

Code view in the dashboard

The code view is now always available in the dashboard so you can read your project's files anytime.

Instant, version-centric publishing

Publishing is now built around versions, with instant staged publishes so changes go live faster.
